    Hi! My name is Joycelyn. I am currently a third year student at UCLA pursing a degree in Cognitive Science with a specialization in computing and also a Data Science and Engineering Minor. I am fascinated by the different aspects of computer science, psychology, and statistics. I am an avid learner and a resourceful achiever. I continuously seek new information and challenge myself to learn something new every day. I continually implement these new pieces of information into my work every day in order to produce the most effective results. My goals revolve around continuing to grow and learn new skills within these industries.

    Built a Recipe Book in Python through object-oriented programming where users can add, delete, modify and search for recipes that they enter.

    Wordictle Chrome Extention

    Wordictle Definitions is a google extension that allows the user to receive the definition of any term/name with a highlight & right-click. With constant change and growth in the way teachers and educators instruct, computer apps and programs are becoming a normality in the classroom. While teaching and learning online has been a big obstacle these past years, our use for technology in school has grown even more. This project involves the development of software that solves some educational problem, in or out of the classroom, in order to encourage students to learn a diversity of subjects. Wordictle Definitions was awarded 1st place with the best education project in the Ohlone Hackathon 3.0.
